Project Completion Announcement!

Greenway USA wrapped up a fun and interesting project this week for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation at the Lake Eaton Campground in Hamilton County, NY.

Beginning with the rerouting of approximately 100 feet of stream, Greenway USA removed three (3) existing 24-inch diameter, 30 foot long HDPE culverts and began the process of replacing them with 2x8x24’ H20 rated precast box culverts.

Scope of work included an upstream temporary dam, excavation and removal of the existing roadway and culverts, stream bed leveling, installation of the new box culverts and backfill and compaction, and finally the installation of new timber guiderails.
